Depression Chocolate Cake

                                              Chocolate Depression Cake Ingredients (For Cake): 1 1/2 cups of all purpose chocolate cake 1 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla  1 teaspoon white vinegar (It doesn't have to be white)  1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 cup water Ingredients (For Frosting):  2 Tablespoons butter 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon milk (or cream) 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Recipe:  Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine vanilla, vinegar, oil and water. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until completely combined and no lumps remain. Pour batter into a greased 8 x 8 square pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake cool completely before frostin

Hand mix for two minutes quickly or mix with electric hand mixer on medium until all of the bumps are gone. Put into cupcake pan with (Preferably green) cupcake liners. Bake on 350F for about 15-20 minutes. Berry Pie + Crust Recipe

~Berry Pie + Crust Recipe~            Ingredients {For Crust}:   2 cups flour 1/2 t. salt 1 stick Crisco 1 T. vinegar 7 T. Cold water Recipe {For Crust}: Combine flour + Salt and cut one cup of Crisco into the mix. Make sure it is crumbly.  Add vinegar into the water and gradually add to mixture. The pie should be soft but not too sticky.  Gently place into pan and make sure if their are rips to mend them together. Set aside the spare dough. Ingredients {For Pie}: 6 cups frozen Marion berry 1 cup sugar 1 t. lemon juice 3 T. cornstarch  1/2 water Recipe: Put berries, sugar, and lemon juice into pan and mix over medium heat. Add 3 T. cornstarch mixed with water until blended. Pour into berry mixture and bring to boil until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and pour into pie crust shell. Place top crust over berry mixture, crimp edges, and sprinkle with sugar. Cut a few slits once top crust is on so heat can escape. Have oven pre
